Brookside Surgery - Sika Trocal

A new canopy was insulated and covered in Sika Trocal.  5m x 3m.  12 Year guarantee.

Firstly, the tissue faced insulation was mechanically fixed to the ply wood deck which was laid by others.

Trocal laminated metal profiles were mechanically fixed around the perimeter going up under the tiles to ensure effective weatherproofing.

Sika Trocal Type SGK membrane, in slate grey, was then fully adhered to the insulation  and solvent welded to laps of adjacent Trocal membrane and to perimeter, guaranteeing an enduring weatherproof roofing solution with a life expectancy of around 30 years.
